Privacy Policy

Last updated November 7, 2026

This policy explains what information is collected when you play Cork Pop, visit jollyfig.com, join our email list or write to us, what it is used for, who receives it and the choices you have.

At a glance

  • Cork Pop has no accounts. It never asks for your name, email address, contacts or location.
  • Your progress, coins and settings are saved only on your device.
  • Ads in Cork Pop come from Google AdMob, which collects device information such as your advertising ID and IP address. Where the law requires it, you are asked for consent first.
  • Purchases go through Google Play. We never see your payment details.
  • On this website, we only learn your email address if you join our list or write to us.

Who we are

Cork Pop and jollyfig.com are made by JollyFig Studio ("JollyFig", "we", "us"), an independent game studio. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at [email protected].

Playing Cork Pop

Cork Pop saves your progress, stars, coins, boosters and settings on your device. It also keeps a record of the purchases it has delivered, stored as a hash of each store transaction number (a code that cannot be turned back into the number), so that the same purchase is never delivered twice.

This game data stays on your device. We do not receive it, and Cork Pop does not back it up to the cloud. Uninstalling the game or clearing its storage deletes it.

Cork Pop does not ask for any permission that needs your approval, such as location, camera, microphone or contacts. It uses your internet connection to load ads, to talk to Google Play and, before a level that starts with an ad, to check that you are online by contacting a Google server. It vibrates your phone only if vibration is turned on in Options.

Ads

Cork Pop is free to play and shows ads served by Google AdMob, a service of Google. You may see a banner at the bottom of the screen and full screen ads between levels. You can also choose to watch rewarded videos, for example to triple the coins you win in a level or to continue a level.

The Google Mobile Ads software in the game automatically collects and sends to Google:

  • your device's IP address, which may be used to estimate its general location;
  • how you interact with the app and its ads, such as app launches, taps and video views;
  • diagnostic information about the performance of the app and the ads software, such as app launch time;
  • device identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID.

Google uses this information to show and measure ads, to understand how they perform and to prevent fraud and abuse. It is encrypted in transit. Google's use of it is covered by the Google Privacy Policy and explained on Google's page about how it uses information from apps that use its services.

Your consent

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Cork Pop shows Google's consent message before any ads are requested. The message works with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. If you do not consent to personalized ads, Google may still show ads that are not personalized, or limited ads. These use less information but still rely on some of it, for example to limit how often you see the same ad and to fight fraud.

You can change your choices at any time: open Options in Cork Pop and tap Ad Choices. If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law, Ad Choices also lets you opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising.

Purchases

Cork Pop sells optional items, such as coin packs and ad removal, through Google Play. Google handles the payment: we never receive your card details, your name or your email address.

When you buy something, Google Play sends the game a signed confirmation with the product and a purchase token. Cork Pop checks this confirmation on your device before it delivers the item.

Google also gives us reports about each sale: the order number, the product, the price and taxes, the date, the device model and the buyer's general location (city, state or postcode, and country). We use these reports for our accounts, for refunds and to answer support requests. Your payment is also covered by the Google Play Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Our website

Hosting and security

jollyfig.com is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. One script on the site is loaded from cdnjs, which Cloudflare also runs. We see overall traffic numbers and, when Cloudflare blocks or challenges a request, the details of that request, such as its IP address and country.

The site has no ads, no analytics and no tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie when it needs to check that a visitor is not a bot.

Email list

If you join our list, we store your email address, the game you asked about and the time you signed up. We use your address only to send you news about Cork Pop and our future games. The list is stored with Cloudflare and we do not share it with anyone else. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to one of our emails or by writing to [email protected], and we will delete your address from the list.

Writing to us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and we use it to answer you. Emails to [email protected] are delivered and stored by our email providers.

Why we use it

We use information only for the purposes described above. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the legal bases are:

  • Providing the game and your purchases: our agreement with you, the Terms of Use.
  • Ads: your consent where the law requires it, and otherwise our legitimate interest in keeping Cork Pop free to play.
  • Preventing fraud and keeping the game and this website secure: our legitimate interest in protecting our players, our services and ourselves.
  • Our email list: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Answering your messages: our legitimate interest in helping you.
  • Sales records: our legal obligations for accounting and tax.

Who receives it

  • Google (Google LLC and its affiliates), for ads through AdMob and for purchases through Google Play.
  • Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.), which hosts this website and our email list and routes our email.
  • Our email providers, which deliver and store the messages you send us.
  • Authorities or others, only when the law requires it or when it is needed to protect the rights and safety of our players or of JollyFig Studio.
  • A new owner, if JollyFig Studio or Cork Pop is ever sold or transferred. This policy would continue to protect your information.

Google and Cloudflare process data in many countries, including the United States. Both are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and they use the European Commission's standard contractual clauses where those are needed.

How long we keep it

Game data
On your device until you uninstall Cork Pop or clear its storage.
Advertising data
Kept by Google under its own retention policy.
Email list
Until you unsubscribe or we stop sending news.
Support emails
As long as we need them to help you, and no longer than two years after our last reply.
Sales reports
As long as accounting and tax laws require.
Website traffic
Processed by Cloudflare under its own policies. We do not export or store it ourselves.

Your choices and rights

  • Ad choices: in Cork Pop, open Options and tap Ad Choices.
  • Advertising ID: on Android, open Settings > Privacy > Ads to reset or delete it. Once it is deleted, apps receive a string of zeros instead of the ID.
  • Game data: uninstall Cork Pop, or clear its storage in your device settings. This also removes your progress and coins. Ad removal can be brought back with Restore Purchases.
  • Email list: reply to one of our emails or write to [email protected].

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to receive a copy of it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Because Cork Pop has no accounts, the only information we hold that we can connect to you is your email address, if you joined our list or wrote to us, and the Google Play sales reports. To make a request, write to [email protected] and we will answer within one month. For information held by Google, you can also use the controls in your Google Account. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law, such as California, you have the right to know what personal information is collected about you, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. Ads in Cork Pop can be personalized with your advertising ID, which some state laws treat as sharing. To opt out, use Ad Choices where it is offered, or delete your advertising ID as described above. We will never treat you differently for using these rights.

Children

Cork Pop is made for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, for example by joining our email list, write to us and we will delete it.

Security

We keep the information we hold to a minimum. This website and the game's connections to Google use encryption (HTTPS and TLS). Only JollyFig Studio can access our email list and support inbox. No system is completely secure, so please do not send us sensitive information by email.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is important, we will also announce it in Cork Pop or on this website.
